Quilt Show Resources for Guild Members

Get Involved

This is a great time to spend with guild friends and getting to know others. There are many ways to get involved while having fun and supporting the guild.

  • Make a quilt. You may enter more than one items, but our space will limit the number of quilts that can be shown by one member.
  • Volunteer on a committee. Some tasks are completed before and after the quilt show. Two-hour shifts will need to be covered during the show at various posts.
  • Bake cookies. If you enjoy baking, we sell cookies by the dozens. They will be put in a tin and wrapped in a fat quarter.
  • Contribute to the boutique. Quality craft items that people will want to buy as a gift for others or for themselves are needed to support the boutique. This is not for yard sale items.
  • Bring a potluck item for the lunchroom. Salads and savory dishes are preferred over sweets. Beverages will be provided.
  • Spread the word. Invite your friends and family to the event. Distribute bookmarks and fliers. Use Facebook, postcards, and email.
  • Shop the boutique. Support our vendors and the guild by shopping for gifts and for yourself.
