Community Collaborations

If you have a project that you would like us to consider for a collaboration, please reach out to Eileen Ryan at president@concordpiecemakers.org.

We have coordinated previously with local community groups (other guilds, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.) for a variety of projects. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Donate Quilting Fabric, Yarn, Notions & Supplies

Are you downsizing your fabric stash? Have you inherited a fabric collection from a loved one although you yourself are not a quilter?

Yes, we accept donations, and we would love to talk with you!

We are currently accepting cotton fabric, unused yarn, knitting and crocheting supplies, sewing notions and tools, embroidery supplies, and books on quilting, knitting, crocheting, and embroidery. If you have a question about a specific item you would like to donate, please contact us.

All donations must be clean and in good condition, as we use our donated items in two primary ways:

1) Resale at our annual Fabric/Yarn/Notions sale or at the Quilt Show fabric sale, which occur on alternating years. This generates funds that supports our speaker program and rental space, as well as the purchase of supplies for the guild, such as large quantities of quilt batting that the guild provides to members making comfort quilts.

2) Guild members are able to use donated supplies to make comfort quilts, pillow cases, and playmats that are then in turn donated back to the community. Please refer to our Community Service page for more details about what we do.
