You’ve probably noticed that the website has changed. We’re in the process of updating and changing some features on the website. More information will be added as the update process goes on. This month, Concord Piecemakers will have our Holiday meeting on Wednesday, December 10th. Set up tables and chairs starting at 6:30pm with a catered dinner starting at 7:00 (suggested donation of $5) followed by pot luck desserts.
Remember your donation to Open Table – the list of possibilities was sent out before and also passed out at the meeting. In addition to a food donation, feel free to make placemats, potholders, napkins, table runners that Open Table can use as part of their gift giveaway. The items will be collected by someone from Open Table during our meeting and the food items will be delivered to their pantry the next day.
After Dinner:
Ugly fabric swap (wrap up your ugly fabric of 1⁄2 yd or 2 fat quarters) and play along with the game until someone is “stuck” with your ugly fabric and you have someone else’s. Who knows – you may treasure what you get and chuckle that someone took yours off of your hands. Barbara W. suggested using the ugly fabric when you create your self-portrait (guild challenge).
