Concord Piecemakers is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and advancing the art of quiltmaking through educational programs, workshops and outreach activities for its members and for surrounding communities.

Founded in 1980, Concord Piecemakers is a group of community-minded, creative types that come primarily from the Greater Boston area and includes some out-of-staters, too. The guild welcomes quilters of all levels, absolute beginners to experienced quilters reflecting a wide variety of skills, styles, and perspectives. All are welcome here!
Our Monthly Meetings
The guild’s season runs from September to June with a break over the summer months. General guild meetings are held monthly – usually on the third Wednesday of the month. Our meetings are in-person meetings with live Zoom accessibility to support remote meetings during inclement weather and those who cannot attend an in-person meeting.
Our typical format is a review of guild business, an in-person or remote speaker/presentation on a variety of topics (i.e., inspiration, creativity, techniques, history, color theory, current trends, etc.), and wrapping up with a show and tell from our members. During the monthly meeting, the guild’s library is accessible for borrowing and there may also be a number of different side projects or prompts (i.e., pre-packaged quilt supplies for comfort quilts, one block per member community projects, etc.).
Our Board Meetings
Our Board typically meets on the first Wednesday of the month over Zoom to discuss guild business in more detail and leadership alignment.
